“Done. Let's get that drink.” “Okay.” “Two big gloggs.”

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of red wine

  • ¾ cup brandy

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

  • 1 navel orange, thinly sliced

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 2 star anise

  • ½ tsp whole cloves

Directions:

  1. Add wine, brandy, and brown sugar to a large stock pot and place over medium-low heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Add in the orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and cloves and gently stir to incorporate.

  3. Allow to simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve in your favorite mug!

We’ve officially started A Year in the Life!! I’m excited to cook my way through the revival. Since these episodes are longer than the original ones, I decided to make four dishes for each of the season episodes. Our first one, is a very festive one for Winter! Glogg originally comes from Sweden, and it will make your house smell like Christmas.

I have so much to keep you guys up on over here if you don’t follow me on Instagram, but I just haven’t had time to sit down and write out a blog post. When I go on my winter break for work in a couple weeks, I will be sure to share all of the exciting news from my big encore announcement to meeting THE LAUREN GRAHAM! I also still need to reflect on wrapping up the original episodes. Thank you for patiently waiting. I can’t wait to share everything with you!

Happy cooking from the Hollow!

If you missed what I made for the season 7 finale, catch up here!

Cheers!
