“Hey, I’m leaving, guys. Rory, you get yourself a funky monkey?” “What?” “Everyone poured all the alcohol they had left into a bowl and that’s what’s in the cup. Tastes gross, but does the trick.” “I stashed one in the fridge for you. It was poured for me, but I’m not having one.” “Lips that touch wine shall never touch mine.”
Ingredients:
½ oz blue curacao
½ oz kinky pink
½ oz fireball
½ oz tequila
½ oz melon liquor
½ oz mango rum
½ oz coconut rum
1 oz vodka
1 oz banana cream rum
Ice
Directions:
To a jar with a lid, add all the alcohol. Be sure to add the banana cream rum last to prevent curdling.
Add the ice and screw the lid onto the jar. Shake vigorously before enjoying.
Whew, this one’s a doozy! I wanted this drink to mimic a concoction if a bunch of college students poured their leftover alcohol into a bowl, but I still wanted it to taste good. I tried using alcohol that would be likely for college students to drink, but would go together in a cocktail. I also had to be sure to include banana in the drink for the funky monkey name. Now be warned, this is obviously very strong and doesn’t have any mixers to balance out the drink. But if you want a strong drink to sip by the pool this summer, this one’s for you!
